REMINGTON 12

Remington built the Model 12 for a time when a pump-action rimfire was standard equipment on the back porch, and this one rolled out of Ilion in 1931 and somehow stayed nice. The slide action is smooth in a way modern rimfires rarely bother with, the takedown design still makes it easy to stow, and the tube magazine holds enough to make an afternoon disappear. Ninety-plus years old and it still looks the part, which says something about how it was treated.
