The Altamont American walnut stock wears a full freedom-themed engraving — bald eagle, furled flag, the works — while the stainless receiver reads “Made in the 250th Year of American Liberty.” Limited production, factory BX-Trigger, and the same dead-reliable action that’s minted more first-time shooters than any rifle alive.
